tried to draw my friend with new Derwent Coloursoft pencils =) Thaks to her for the patience! *though she was twirling and jumping all the time XD but that was fun anyway* only pity is that we were short in time, as it was already late and she had to go home. I hope she will pose for me more ^^

tried to draw Katie Holmes from the cover of ELLE... yes, it was originally Katie Holmes, believe me or not... i'm miserable XD

Sketches

I found a new way to entertain myself! *while watching TV or whatever* I have a few ZIG markers *like copics i guess* though the range of colours is really really small and that annoys me as hell... and i don't have special paper, and mine streches and goes all bubbly and...bleh! i stil can do some things ^^

Ekaterinazarova

a portrait of my beloved friend Ekaterina Nazarova (gallery) She is a photographer. though the site is in Russian, navigation is quite simple ^^

She said that a shaddow below her nose on the reference photo was caused by a photoflash being placed in a wrong way *or smth like this* and i carefully copied this mistake XD lol on me =)

Above the Mountain

this piece is inspired by PJ's song "Above the Mountain"
i'm completely not happy with the result, i hope some time later i will be able to recreate it

a new picture i've started on April, 26th
it's called "Radiation", though i didn't have any intention to somehow connect it with The Chernobyl disaster and thus call it so. But there was a TV program on about Chernobyl while i was drawing it and got highly influenced by it. so, here is the picture itself. done with a mech. pencil and graphite shavings

i finished this pencil girl and totally ruined it after scanning. i don't remember how i managed to scan it when it was half-finished >.< that's bad because i'm more content with the previous scan

coloured pencils

Currently i'm trying to get accustomed to coloured pencils. I have a tin of 36 Derwent Studio *a cherished gift from my friends on BD* and with the help of a kneadable eraser i work on small pieces. But the thing which is really frustrating is the ammount of time it takes to draw smth really small >.> but i surely like the process anyway ^^

Besides i have no idea how to scan properly... my scanner eats all the colours T_T and PS makes them so unnatural..
